NIA นำโดย ดร.พันธุ์อาจ ชัยรัตน์ ผู้อำนวยการ NIA ได้เข้าร่วมหารือเครือข่ายสถาบันการอุดมศึกษาในเชียงใหม่ เพื่อพัฒนาสาขานวัตกรรมการท่องเที่ยว ณ Chiangmai&Co โดยมีประเด็นสำคัญเกี่ยวกับการผลักดันและยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมการท่องเที่ยว เพื่อให้เกิดนวัตกรรมใหม่ที่ตอบโจทย์ และรูปแบบที่สอดคล้องกับพื้นที่ รวมถึงการสร้างเครือข่ายของกลุ่มผู้ประกอบการการท่องเที่ยวให้แข็งแรงและมีความพร้อมในการแข่งขัน

อีกทั้งยังร่วมหารือเกี่ยวกับย่านนวัตกรรมเกษตร ร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ เพื่อผลักดันให้เกิด Agro-food Innovation District โดยเน้น Green Smart โดยเริ่มจากการเข้าถึงชุมชนที่มีการขยายตัวของการเกษตรอย่างต่อเนื่องผ่านการใช้นวัตกรรมเป็นตัวขับเคลื่อน เพื่อยกระดับและเกิดย่านต้นแบบในพื้นที่เชียงใหม่

Dr. Pun-Arj Chairatana, NIA director, joined the meeting with the network of higher education institutions in Chiang Mai at Chiangmai & Co in order to drive innovation in travel and tourism industry and build a strong entrepreneur network that be ready to compete. So, there will be more creative innovation which is suitable for the area.

In addition, he also discussed about the agricultural innovation with Maejo University in order to build the ‘Agro-food Innovation District’ focusing on Green Smart. Starting from reaching the communities that are continuously expanding in agriculture through the use of innovation as a driving force. And this will be a model district in Chiang Mai
