ตอกย้ำความพร้อมของเชียงใหม่ และการกลับมาเป็นหมุดหมายของ Digital Nomad และสตาร์ทอัพจากทั่วโลก

ภาพบรรยากาศสุดประทับใจ กับกิจกรรม Chiang Mai Startup Day 2022 ภายใต้การดำเนินงานของ Global Startup Hub ภาคเหนือ เมื่อวันที่ 11 มิถุนายน 2565 ณ อุทยานวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ และเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของงาน STARTUP x INNOVATION THAILAND EXPO 2022 (SITE 2022) ที่จะจัดขึ้นวันที 23-25 มิถุนายน 2565 ในรูปแบบไฮบริด ภายใต้แนวคิด "Reconnecting the World เชื่อมเรา เชื่อมโลก กลับมาเจอกัน"

ดร.พันธุ์อาจ ชัยรัตน์ ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานนวัตกรรมแห่งชาติ (องค์การมหาชน) กล่าวเปิดงาน Chiang Mai Startup Day 2022 ตอกย้ำความพร้อมของเชียงใหม่ให้เป็นศูนย์กลางสร้างเครือข่ายสตาร์ทอัพในพื้นที่ และความต้องการเพิ่มจำนวนสตาร์ทอัพในพื้นที่ จากการเชื่อมโยงกลไกหรือเครื่องมือต่าง ๆ ทั้งจาก NIA และหน่วยงานเครือข่ายในพื้นที่เพื่อให้สตาร์ทอัพเหล่านั้นอยู่รอดและเติบโต นอกจากนี้ ยังเป็นการสร้างแบรนด์ให้เชียงใหม่เป็น “ศูนย์กลางของการพัฒนานวัตกรรมในภูมิภาค” หรือ Chiangmai City of Innovation

ที่จะดึงดูดการลงทุนด้านนวัตกรรมเพื่อการเติบโตทางด้านเศรษฐกิจในพื้นที่อย่างก้าวกระโดด พร้อมเปิดข้อมูล Thailand's Northern Startups & Innovation Ecosystem 2022 ทั้งนี้ NIA ตั้งเป้าในอีก 5 ปีข้างหน้า (พ.ศ. 2570) เราจะสามารถสร้างสตาร์ทอัพเพิ่มขึ้นเป็น 1,000 บริษัทที่จะเข้ามาอยู่ในระบบนวัตกรรมจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ โดยแบ่งเป็น Tech Startup จำนวน 300 บริษัท และ MARtech (Music Art and Recreation Technology) Startup จำนวน 700 บริษัท รวมถึงสามารถสร้าง DeepTech Startup ที่มีมูลค่าทางเศรษฐกิจระดับมากกว่า 1,000 ล้านบาท จำนวน 30 บริษัท ซึ่งจะก่อให้เกิดการลงทุน การจ้างงาน และการพัฒนาทักษะด้านเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมที่มีต่อผลกระทบทางเศรษฐกิจโดยคาดหวังให้ GDP ของพื้นที่เชียงใหม่เพิ่มขึ้นเป็น 500,000 ล้านบาท หรือกว่า 1 เท่าตัว

ภายในกิจกรรม มีการออกบูทจาก สตาร์ทอัพ 13 ทีม และกิจกรรมนำเสนอธุรกิจ (Pitching) จากสตาร์ทอัพ 12 ทีม โดยมีทีมที่ได้รับที่ได้รับรางวัล ดังนี้

• The Best of Business Model has growth potential ได้แก่ Nextate Technology
• The Best of Availability of Innovation and Technology ได้แก่ Blue Oak Solution
• The Best of Adapting Innovation and Technology to solve problems ได้แก่ Sati
• The Best Presenting Award ได้แก่ Attra Inter Group
• The Best Team Strengths Award ได้แก่ Wayplus Service
• The Popular Award ได้แก่ Easykids Robotics

และ ทุกทีมยังได้รับ รางวัล Cloud Credit มูลค่าสูงสุด 150,000 บาท จาก Amazon Web Services (AWS)

ทั้งนี้นอกเหนือจากรางวัลที่ได้รับก็คือโอกาสที่สตาร์ทอัพทุกทีมและผู้ที่สนใจเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมทุกท่าน สามารถได้ร่วมสร้างเครือข่าย ต่อยอดธุรกิจ เกิดการเปลี่ยนข้อมูลธุรกิจร่วมกันตลอดทั้งงาน

Incredible moment from yesterday with “Chiang Mai Startup Day 2022" On June 11th, 2022, at at Science and Technology Park Chiang Mai University (CMU STeP) as part of the STARTUP x INNOVATION THAILAND EXPO 2022 (SITE 2022) to be held 23-25 June 2022, in a hybrid format under the concept "Reconnecting the World".

- Dr. Pun-Arj Chairatana, Executive Director, National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) said “Chiang Mai Startup Day 2022 reinforces Chiang Mai's readiness to be a hub for local startup networks and the need to increase the number of startups in the area from linking various mechanisms or tools from both NIA and local network agencies to enable those startups to survive and grow. This will create Chiang Mai would be “The Center of Innovation Development in the Region” or Chiangmai City of Innovation”

- To attract investment in innovation for rapid economic growth in the area and share information about Thailand's Northern Startups & Innovation Ecosystem 2022. NIA has an ambitious dream that in the next 5 years (2027), there will be more than 1,000 startup companies entering in Chiang Mai innovation system, 300 Tech Startup and 700 MARTech (Music Art and Recreation Technology). In that number, there should be 30 DeepTech Startups with an economic value of more than 1,000 million. These will help create investment, employment and skills development in technology and innovation. The GPP in Chiang Mai is expected to be increased to 500 billion baht in 5 years.
